Local teachers are invited to apply for a scholarship to join the CANDLES Holocaust Museum for a trip of a lifetime to Poland to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the liberation of the Auschwitz concentration camp. Walk in the footsteps of Holocaust survivor and CANDLES founder Eva Mozes Kor and learn about her extraordinary story while exploring the stunning city of Krakow, Poland.
One complete trip package will be awarded to a teacher or educator from South Montgomery, North Montgomery, Crawfordsville, or North Putnam school corporations. The scholarship includes airfare from Chicago to Krakow, tour bus transportation, hotel accommodations, daily guide services, tours, meals, trip t-shirt, and more.
